We're a small, family-owned team with deep Nashville roots and a whole lot of heart. Every one of our staff members brings that hometown dedication to everything we do.
Rob Marrero
Rob's journey to Nashville began in 1984, when a love of music brought him to Music City. After 10 years performing as a live musician, Rob opened his own graphics company and focused on visual and digital arts. in 2005, Rob started Marrero Building with a passion for building homes with thoughtful and artistic design.
Rob lives in Franklin with his wife, Sandy, and is the proud father of five amazing children (the most amazing of whom are now his employees).
Founder
Cody Jeffries
Cody oversees all of Marrero Building's construction projects from initial planning through completion, managing scheduling and the day to day operations that keep everything running smoothly.
A Nolensville native, Cody grew up with the same small-town Tennessee values that define the company's approach to every build. He even has a small brush with “fame”, having appeared in a Luke Bryan music video. When he's not on the job site, you'll find Cody outside in a tree stand, waiting patiently for the deer he saw on his trail camera a few days ago.
Construction Manager
As Marrero Building’s Business Administrator, Sandy provides comprehensive support to our team with attention to detail, managing cost tracking and operational efficiency.
Sandy has lived in the Nashville area for more than 40 years. She met her husband, Rob, on the General Jackson Showboat while singing at the former theme park, Opryland USA. When not at work, you can find Sandy reading on the back porch with her grandchildren or lacing up her new hiking boots. As a novice hiker, she dreams of completing the Cotswold Way in southern England someday.
Business AdministratorSandy Marrero
Susanna is the back office manager and has worked for Marrero Building since 2022. She was born and raised in Nashville and has a deep love for the Titans despite their losing record. Susanna loves caring for her family and running her cottage sourdough bakery in her spare time.

Sara Byrd
Sara leads all things creative at Marrero Building, handling graphic design, marketing, and branding for the company. A true Music City enthusiast, she has a deep love for live music and enjoys visiting some of the city's best smaller venues, including The End and The Blue Room. Outside of work, Sara splits her time between her local CrossFit gym and pottery class in East Nashville.
